“In Autumn, maple leaves bring shades from dazzling yellow to blood red to the Great Lakes countryside,” says artist Elizabeth G Fagan. “With its abundant sunshine and low humidity, Fall is the best season along Lake Michigan’s Left Coast.” Contact Fagan for prices and available media (eg unframed prints, framed prints, canvases, and others).
The Great Lakes region of North America enjoys four distinct seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter each brings changes to the natural world, not only in average temperatures, but also in the behaviors of animals and plants, the Great Lakes, and the sky above.
“I love the climate at Lake Michigan’s Left Coast,” says artist Elizabeth G Fagan. “Tucked between lake bluffs on the west and Lake Michigan on the east, this narrow strip sees seasons that are more moderate than they are in the Great Plains. Temperatures are cooler in Summer and warmer in Winter—a true Maritime climate.” Seasonal themes run deep in Fagan’s work.
