“In Autumn, maple leaves bring shades from dazzling yellow to blood red to the Great Lakes region,” says artist Elizabeth G Fagan. “With its abundant sunshine and low humidity, Fall is the best season along Lake Michigan’s Left Coast.”
Among its hues, Autumn Yellow features Sherwin-Williams paint colors Gusto Gold (6904) and Relic Bronze (6132). Contact Fagan for prices and available media (eg unframed prints, framed prints, canvases, and others).
The Great Lakes region of North America enjoys four distinct seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter bring changes to the natural world, not only in average temperature, but also in animals and plants, the Great Lakes, and the sky above.
“The climate at Lake Michigan’s Left Coast is more moderate than it is to the west and north,” says artist Elizabeth G Fagan. “Tucked between lake bluffs on the west and Lake Michigan on the east, this narrow strip sees temperatures that are cooler in Summer and warmer in Winter. It’s a Maritime climate.”
