DIY Bathroom Shelf Detail
Artist and DIY-er Elizabeth G Fagan used a pair of decorative brackets, “found” lumber, and a driftwood branch to make a Boho Beach bathroom shelf.

“I’ve had the brackets for years,” says Fagan. She found the lumber shelf “somewhere” and picked up the driftwood on the Lake Michigan beach near her home. “I painted layers of colors, then distressed them with a sander.” She used the same technique on the window frame.

Fagan often uses Sherwin-Williams colors in her artwork. “Using defined hues makes it much easier for interior designers and homeowners to identify, match, and coordinate the tones to any décor,” she reports.

The driftwood rod is Sherwin-Williams DTM in Majestic Purple (SW6545). The window is distressed Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane in Snowbound (SW7004). The wall behind is Sherwin-Williams Emerald Matte in Gauzy White (SW6035).
