Friends and memories come and go
Upon life’s restless sea
But one I know will changeless be
My Mother, heaven’s gift to me
The poem “My Mother” comes from a 1930s-era painting digital artist Elizabeth G Fagan found in an antique shop. She gave it to her Mother one Mother’s Day. Fagan hung the painting with favorite photos of Mom, who passed away a few years ago.
