“Unfortunately, I don’t like to discuss the wildlife I see along Lake Michigan’s Left Coast,” says photographer Elizabeth G Fagan. “Hunters here are so bloodthirsty I fear my disclosure will invite the animal’s premature, painful death.” During a January polar vortex, Fagan set out some dog food for a hungry fox. “Especially when it’s very cold, animals need calories. The crows love dog food, too,” adds Fagan.
