“My Mother’s family was Wisconsin-German. My grandparents used to say: Wisconsin corn is high as an elephant’s eye by the 4th of July.

Artist Elizabeth G Fagan creates natural scenes as they might appear in fond memories. One of hers is seeing the spot in southeastern Wisconsin where farmland disappears into Lake Michigan.
